After noticing that there were a lot of jump cuts in are opening and there were nothing we could do to change it because some of are footages were short we spoke to Rebecca and she gave us the idea to add in titles on a blank screen with fade in / fade out dissolves connecting it to the clips. We tried it and decided it was the best thing for us to do to improve our opening and o that there are no jump cuts.
So that meant we were going to have title on a blank screen even though we never planned it because we wanted a discrete title opening with title with the film, but after remembering that in the opening of Seven (which is a discrete title opening) it had both titles with the film and in a blank screen we decided to have both in are opening title as well.
