 noir demon , we reinforce stereotypes  and represent women as weak and defenceless  and the man  as the villan we do this in many ways  take this  screen grab for instance...

we have one of our characters which happens to be a female running through a underpass  looking very scared and she has her arms folded while running which conveys that she is defenceless and  vunreabable ,  here  is  another movie were this happens ... 

this would be a typical stereotype of women in most thriller horrors, we chose to do the same.

here again representation of males have been shown to be quit sinister and as you can see only half of his face is showing , we did this on purpose to convey  the stalker side to the character and his cunningness.

here is another movie were the male is represented int he same way... 

we have represented males in a negative way and represented females as defenceless and hopeless.

overall i would say that that we have represented both males and females in a negative way; females are being represented as sinister and presented across as predators, and females represented as hopeless and defenceless this is shown when she is depicted running through the under pass with her arms folded.
